help please

Does anybody know first of all what the heck is the difference between a baptism and a christening and 2nd of all seen and patterns around to mark the event? If not I think I might have to design my very first pattern. (Nicola is getting it done on the 31st at catholic church)
Thanks

  2. I think Baptism is just used by Catholics for a Christening.

  3. Christening and Baptism are pretty much the same thing , but for different religions . Best to check with the minister doing the ceremony what it will be called.

  4. They're both the same thing. Catholics ball is a Baptism, although I'm Catholic and have heard it called both depending on the family that was having it.

  5. Ditto the others! Christenings tend to be babies and children whereas an adult would be baptised. But I think it's just semantics, the actual ceremonies and intent is the same.
This is what SewandSo came up with:

I love the Ellen Maurer-Stroh pillow design myself.
