Christmas is 130 days away...

For one of my readers - The Pattern is Reed Stocking by Shepard s Bush. They come out with one every year.

Are you all ready for the the release??? I Can't wait as always, already on a waiting list for it but it depends who gets it first. and can ship it fastest. As I am in Canada we don't usually see it in the stores until 2-3 weeks after the U.S. gets theirs.

Just a shout out to one of my fellow Stitching Sisters. She is looking to get 100 followers before the end of the year. So head on over (the link is on her name) and be a follower please she will be very happy you visited.

  1. Tammy,

I just got the halloween issue the other day and it's full of ornaments of the spooky variety. I'm assuming the Christmas version is next.

I still have several ornaments from last year's book that I haven't done, so I need to get BUSY, but with all of the projects I already have on my plate, I am not sure where to fit these little buggers in. I guess it's time to do a few smaller ornies, which would be a win/win, since I can finish them fast and then I will have pretties for my tree. (Or my mom's tree, since we will be down in SC for Christmas.)

Here's a question. If you're going to be out of town for basically all of Christmas, do you still get a tree? We are leaving around the 22nd and won't be back until right before New Year's.

    1. I'm not Tammy, but when my in-laws took a trip to Germany from Thanksgiving until a couple of days before New Year's Day, she only put up a small tree with a few treasured ornies on it.

In our family, we usually put the tree and decorations up right after Thanksgiving and don't take them down until after New Year's Day.

  3. Thanks for the info on the stocking. I can't wait to get my hands on the JCS Christmas Ornament issue! I created a LONG list from past issues that I want to stitch. It's probably going to take me forever to complete it, especially since they publish a new one every year, lol.

If you want to see my list, you can check it out on my blog:

Thanks for commenting, I really like reading them and they make my day more enjoyable
