So frustrated!!

It seems everything I stitch lately is out by 1 stitch this is getting sooooo old!!!!
The fat men 2 of the 6 charts I screwed up by one and now the Halloween one.
Can anyone teach me how to count, maybe to 12???

  1. With or without a calculator? Ha ha. At least you're consistent.

    Happy stitching!

  4. I know that feeling Tammy, been there. What do I do? Call for the frog or let it be if its possible, yet I had one piece that can do neither...sigh!

  5. We've all gone through it Tammy and all of us get every bit as upset when we do. I've been doing the hardanger embroidery around GiGi and it seems that some of the boxes just don't want to finish right. I think the other night I redid one of them at least five times. Your work is beautiful though and it will all turn out lovely. Reading your post though, all I could picture was a frog pin cushion with big long pins jabbed into it!

  6. I know how you feel! I have lost the ability to count past 1 at the moment. Perhaps we can teach each other!!

  7. My DH can always tell when I am working on an "easy" piece because I tend to get a little careless and have to frog stitches. The big complicated pieces require attention and that "makes" me count accurately. Perhaps you suffer from this same malady? :-)
